We are a Haitian American couple in pursuit of a minimal to debt free lifestyle and creating real estate wealth all while raising our blended family. Our journey began in 2014 and has been filled with all the ups and downs of life.

J is a Haitian American originally from New Jersey. He studied Finance and has two Masters degrees. His path to seeing the world was a bit different, as he is a decorated combat veteran. Before meeting Liz, J moved to worked in the public sector in the Washington DC area.

Liz is a Louisiana-born military brat, who was raised on the East Coast and South. She studied International Business in college. Her love of seeing the world began when she studied abroad in Europe and Asia. Liz pursued a career focused on International Affairs to enable her to continue to explore the world. Before meeting J, Liz became a single mother to a wonderful son - C.
